Description
Crispy, chewy, and packed with chocolate, these rice krispie chocolate chip cookies are easy to make and hard to resist.
Ingredients
- softened butter
- brown sugar
- white sugar
- eggs
- vanilla extract
- all-purpose flour
- baking soda
- salt
- Rice Krispies
- chocolate chips
- optional: rolled oats
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cream the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar in a bowl until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, then mix until fully combined.
- In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture and stir until a dough forms.
- Fold in the Rice Krispies and chocolate chips gently.
- Scoop dough into balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Leave about two inches of space between each cookie.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges are golden.
- Let cookies cool on the tray for 5 minutes.
- Transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Fold in the Rice Krispies at the end to keep them crispy.
- Freeze unbaked dough balls to bake fresh cookies anytime.
- Store baked cookies in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
