Description

Crispy, chewy, and packed with chocolate, these rice krispie chocolate chip cookies are easy to make and hard to resist.


Ingredients

  • softened butter
  • brown sugar
  • white sugar
  • eggs
  • vanilla extract
  • all-purpose flour
  • baking soda
  • salt
  • Rice Krispies
  • chocolate chips
  • optional: rolled oats

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Cream the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar in a bowl until smooth.
  • Add eggs and vanilla extract, then mix until fully combined.
  • In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture and stir until a dough forms.
  • Fold in the Rice Krispies and chocolate chips gently.
  • Scoop dough into balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Leave about two inches of space between each cookie.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges are golden.
  • Let cookies cool on the tray for 5 minutes.
  • Transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
