  • Avocado & everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

Making Homemade Bagels:

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, yeast, and sugar. Slowly add warm water and oil, kneading until a firm dough forms.
  2. Cover and let rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
  3. Divide dough into 8 equal pieces, shape into balls, then poke a hole in the center and stretch into a bagel shape.
  4. Let shaped bagels rest for 20 minutes while you bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add honey or malt syrup to the water.
  5. Boil bagels for 30-60 seconds per side, then transfer to a baking sheet.
  6. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Making Cream Cheese Spread:

  1. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, milk, and salt until smooth.
  2. Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
